10 Special Events in October for our 10th!

October 2, All Day

Come to the museum to check out Quad City Wood Turners! They'll be here basically all day from 10am-3pm demonstrating.

October 6, 9am-2pm: Cutting

The American Queen will be in town, visiting various sites around Clinton and Fulton. The visitors from the boat will be at the museum throughout the day. We cut from 9am-2pm

October 7 & 21, 10am-11am

AEA Early Childhood and Development Class 10-11am Bring your toddlers over to the museum for a morning of socialization and play. FREE for toddlers and their parents.

October 7,  5:30pm

All full for Three Dove Designs craft night
October 9 & October 10, All Day
Come to the museum to check out a chainsaw artist! They will be here all day from 10am-5pm. Outside so FREE to watch.

October 17, 2pm

Heather Houzenga owner of Now & Zen will be at the museum at 2pm running a paint pour class! Click here, call the museum, or message us to reserve a spot. $20 per person.

October  15 & 22, 10am

10am our volunteers will be running the mill to kick off the day. 

 October 20, 2pm-3pm(Show) and afterwards a hands on workshop

Join us at the museum for the Eulenspiegel Puppets! They will be showing the story of Johnny Appleseed. The show will start at 2pm. They will then do a craft workshop at 3pm. Included in regular admission to the museum. ​
October 24, 2pm-3pm
Come join us for a fun ceramics class. CDG Ceramics will be in the museum from 2-3pm. Check them out at: https://cdgceramics.com/ Call the museum or message us to reserve your spot! Included in admission to the museum. Members are asked for $3 donation. 

October 28, 5pm

Come join us at the museum for a lecture given by University of Dubuque History Professor, Brian Hallstoos. He will be presenting on BLANK starting at 5pm. Free admission to lecture.

October 29, 4pm-8pm

Drop the kids off at the museum for crafts and games while you go out for dinner, or whatever you have planned! 4pm-8pm Don't forget to have them wear their Halloween costume! $10 per kid, max of 12, Call to RSVP

October 30 All Day (Blacksmith) 1pm-2pm (Magician)

The museum will be having Medd blacksmith here doing a demonstration from 10am-4pm. (Free as Outside!) 
1pm-2pm we will be having TJ Regul, the Quad Cities Magician performing at the museum. Check them out at:  https://www.quadcitymagician.com/ (included in admission to museum)
