Historical Routes are Our Roots

•  The Sawmill Museum has the  National Park Passport Cancellation Stamp through Silos & Smokestacks as well as their 25th Anniversary stamp (we are not a national park)
• The museum is  a Great River Road interpretative Center
• The museum sits on the Historic Lincoln Highway 
• The museum is a recipient of Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs' Cultural Leadership Partnership. 
• The museum is on two byways for the Iowa Scenic Byway Passport
• The museum sits next to the Mississippi River with a levee above that offers stunning views and sits next to railroad tracks
