Thank you to REAP-CEP

The grant is funded by REAP-CEP. The summer camp will not only be informative for you but informative for us as well. We ask all participants to participate in our surveys so we can assess how well we did. The entire process is a chance for you to let us know what we can do better and what you want to see more of!

Week 1 (7/1 & 7/2): Conservation

Picture
The big kick off week. Do you really know what a tree is? Are you sure you are the best steward you can be? How healthy are our trees? Week one answers those questions.

Week 2 (7/8 & 7/9): Value of a Tree

Picture
How do you use a tree? This week is all about making the strangest things from trees!

Week 3 (7/15 & 7/16) : What Powers a Plant and What Powers Your Home

Picture
This week learn all about cause and effect. Hop on board the EcoTrailer and learn how you can better power your world. Then find out how plants are powered. Then ask yourself, how can we do both!

Week 4 (7/22 & 7/23): Pollution and Disease

Picture
Conduct acid rain experiments. See how a wild fire affects the forest. What about diseases and insects?

Week 5 (7/29 & 7/30): Trees as an Ecosystem
